Elements of the Genre in the movie...
  • The settings are...
  • beach
  • and the house
  • the "outside world" was only a few times
  • The story goes through phases like it gets brighter when they are together and darker when they are sad
What Elements of the genre did the movie have that you like...
  • I liked the house and how if felt like outside but became a prison as the brightness left it
  • they also had inserts about their thoughts and how they felt, it made it interesting to watch their interactions
What elements of the genre did the movie have that do not appeal to you...
  • I didn't like the constant music behind every scene.
  • The repetition with the music and the similar scenes bore me, however the ending was quite interesting.

I would like to challenge the conventions by not having a distant romance theme, for instance the lighting is to bright for the over all theme that i would like to represent in my film.

The Mise-Un-Scene

This was the astronaut, her feeling like she was in a constant state of floating without any grounding and she found it with him.
